Prestige Undertaking Company is proudly owned and operated by Darelle and LaRitta Broussard, a husband-and-wife team. Their shared journey is rooted in faith, service, and a calling to walk with families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

Darelle Broussard’s journey in funeral service began in 2000, giving him over 25 years of experience in the funeral industry. Raised around the funeral profession in Louisiana, Darelle grew up working in his family’s funeral home, where he learned the importance of tradition, respect, and community.



In obedience to faith and purpose, Darelle made the bold decision to step out and pursue greater growth. He relocated to Houston, Texas, where he attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. His professional gifts were further refined through work with both corporate and family-owned funeral homes. Through these experiences, Darelle’s leadership, compassion, and commitment to excellence were cultivated—shaping the foundation of service that Prestige Undertaking Company stands on today.


LaRitta Broussard has over 12 years of experience in the funeral industry, where she discovered not only her profession, but her calling and ministry. She is also a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and has served in both corporate and family-owned funeral homes. Through these experiences, LaRitta developed a deep appreciation for prestige, excellence, honesty, and personalized care in funeral service.


Born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, LaRitta initially pursued a path in the medical field, attending Stephen F. Austin State University with aspirations of becoming a forensic pathologist. After the passing of her grandfather, LaRitta experienced firsthand the impact that compassionate funeral care can have on a grieving family. It was through the guidance and professionalism of a funeral home owner that she realized the funeral profession allowed her to combine both her love for science and her heart for service—caring for the deceased with dignity, while also supporting the living with compassion.


This calling allowed LaRitta to walk fully in her purpose: helping families navigate one of the most difficult moments of their lives with grace, comfort, and understanding.


Together, Darelle and LaRitta are active, faithful members of Time of Celebration Ministries Church, under the leadership of Dr. Jacqueline T. Flowers, where their faith continues to guide their mission, their marriage, and their business.

Known for their professionalism and excellence, Darelle and LaRitta also bring a personal touch to everything they do. Style and presentation matter to them—because excellence is reflected not only in service, but in how you carry yourself. Families often recognize their attention to detail, warmth, and approachability.


They are also the proud leaders of a blended family, which has shaped their deep belief that family legacy matters. Prestige Undertaking Company was built not only to represent excellence in funeral service, but to honor the importance of family, heritage, and generational impact.
